[Guide] the on-chain metrics whales actually watch — trade blind without these and you're exit liquidity (MVRV & SOPR made simple)

stop staring at only the chart — on-chain widens your view. the two you'll see most: [MVRV] market cap ÷ realized value. basically 'how much are holders up on average'. very high = profit-taking pressure (top-ish), below 1 = most are underwater (bottom-ish). [SOPR] whether coins that moved were sold in PROFIT or LOSS. above 1 = selling at a profit on average, below 1 = capitulating at a loss. note: not a standalone signal. read it with trend + volume. but it shows 'is the market greedy or fearful' from an angle that isn't just price.
