they say price hunts the side with the most liquidations on the liq map — can I trust that?

on the liquidation heatmap you can see zones where liquidation volume stacks up above/below. people say 'price hunts toward the liquidity (liquidation clusters)', and I do often see price tag that zone then reverse. but is that actual causation or just hindsight fitting? anyone trade off the liq map? how do you use it?
