used to keep everything on one exchange, then a long maintenance window made me sweat bullets. since then I split: a main one for trading + a separate one for long-term storage. I funnel trades through the one with the fee rebate, and park the untouched stack elsewhere. 'don't put all your eggs in one basket' exists for a reason
