I bought this memecoin but I literally can't sell it… how do you screen for honeypots?

bought a fresh memecoin and every sell fails. turns out it might be a 'honeypot' (a scam contract you can buy but can't sell)... is there a way to screen before buying? do you check contract verification, holder distribution, whether there's actual sell pressure? curious how the pros do a first-pass filter on new tokens
