indicators all look the same at first, so the essentials: [RSI] 0–100. Textbook says >70 overbought, <30 oversold — but in strong trends it can pin at 80 and keep going. It works best as a counter-trend signal in ranging markets. [MACD] the 'strength and direction' of trend. Watch signal-line crosses (golden/death) and the zero-line break. But it's a lagging indicator — it confirms after the move started. bottom line: indicators CONFIRM, they don't PREDICT. Trading on them alone makes you exit liquidity. Price and volume first, indicators second.
